We offer training events and workshops in Ontario and webinars on a wide range of topics related to preconception, prenatal and child health. We also host the Best Start Resource Centre Annual Conference, which attracts hundreds of participants from across Ontario and beyond. The conference is an opportunity to learn from experts and network with service-providers and policy-makers.

What service providers have to say about our training:

Thanks again for such a great workshop. What an eye opener! We are still talking about it.

Webinars are a great way of sharing information. I appreciated participating.

I just finished reading the four modules of “Supporting parenting skills when parents have mental health challenges” and found all four very informative especially the last one as it gives valuable information on how to draw more favourable responses and reactions from clients. I will place the link in my favourites and visit it frequently for more opportunities such as this one. Thanks.

Scent-free

Perfume and scented products are very common and popular. Unfortunately, scented products cause negative respiratory reactions to some people. In some instances, these products make them very sick. Health Nexus asks participants at our events to respect the needs of others and refrain from wearing scented products. This includes hand lotions, perfumes, oils, etc.
